The Ritz of Crystal Beach

I really like renting through Cobb Real Estate. It is a little difficult to find a beach house large enough for our growing family of about 16 (all adult size). The Ritz was a good choice for us. Since the first 2 days of our stay was raining the family enjoyed the added feature of the pool table. Everyone also commented on the convenience of having an ice maker and 2 refrigerators. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, etc. There are some minor things that could use replacing (window shades in main room and sunken mattress in one of the bedrooms) but overall it was a great choice for our family.

This house is the most amazing house for our family of 20. Even though it rained the entire week we were there this house was great. There is plenty to do inside the house. There are games, puzzles, pool and great amenities to accommodate! The ice machine is to die for. We love this home and hope to keep coming back for many years to come.

This is our 3rd year at the Ritz, and we love it. Perfect for our adult children and 9 grandchildren. We have been pleased every time and do plan on staying again next year. The two negatives are that the patio furniture is showing wear and could be updated and the dryer does not dry our clothes. I'm sure they will take care of these items. Our family has already began plans for next year.

The Ritz at Crystal Beach is amazing! We had three generations with us, including a geriatric dog, and the elevator was a life saver! The house is beautifully decorated with more than enough room for our group of 16. The kitchen is very well stocked and the ice machine was a big hit. Sonic ice!!! From the porch swing on the top deck to the comfy seating around the grill downstairs, I believe we fully utilized the entire house. Lots of new homes are being built nearby but the neighborhood was still very quiet and peaceful. It’s also only five miles from the ferry so quick trips to Galveston were easy and yet the Big Store was only a ten minute drive away.
I’d recommend renting a golf cart so you can fully explore the beaches and washouts as well as the community.
There are a couple of items that I’m sure the owner is aware of like the exterior doors not opening off the game room. BUT this caused absolutely NO problems for us.

The beach house was perfectly decorated with each bedroom having its own theme. We didn't find anything that was broken or not working. The location is within 4 miles of two different boat ramps. Beachfront view from every room in the house. Nothing was lacking.

My family treated me to a week at The Ritz to celebrate my 96th birthday!! We were there last year and this year was just as fine. We found the house clean, comfortable, adequate for the needs of my large family. The elevator and doggie acceptance certainly were plusses! The weather was perfect; we had a most enjoyable stay.

The ritz was a nice place on a private part of the beach! Not a lot of traffic which was safe for the small children. Each bedroom had a decorated theme. The kitchen was fully stocked & the 2 refrigerators was a plus. I would stay at the ritz again for my family reunion !��⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We enjoyed a relaxing 6 day stay at the Ritz with family and friends. The property was large enough to accomodate our party of approximately 20 persons. Kitchen and cooking facilities were excellent. The elevator was a plus for loading and unloading heavier, bulky items. A/C worked fine. There was a bit of a walk to the beach access crossover, but nothing too extreme. Mosquitos lurked in the grassy areas. Beach itself was not too crowded, as it is somewhat removed from the main crunch of Crystal Beach population. All in all, we were very satisfied.

We had a wonderful time creating memories at this beautiful beach house. It was well stocked, clean and close to our own “private” beach. The fenced off yard with well maintained grass was a perk and the view from the balconies were breathtaking.

Another great 4 generation, family vacation! We have stayed in the Ritz for several years (Five I think) and it is a perfect home for our multi generational family getaway. Plenty of bedrooms and space for the great grandparents down to the two year old grandbabies. The elevator is great for our aging parents; they would not be able to stay otherwise. We consider the Ritz our home away from home.

We have rented vacation homes for over 20 years. We found the perfect home for our visit! Easily accommodates our group of 20+. Kitchen was well stocked with anything that was needed including two large refrigerators and a large pantry. The bonus was an amazing ice machine. Sleeping accommodations and bathrooms exactly met our needs. Elevator was an amazing help when loading and unloading. The beach area was better than other areas in Crystal Beach. We had to talk a bit for the walkover, but it worked out fine. Can't say enough good things about this house. Have already reserved for next year!

This is our second time spending family beach week at the Ritz. We all love this home so much it feels like part of our family now! Our children and grandchildren have room to play and enjoy everyone together in the great room, and also have a private retreat big enough for their small families upstairs. The elevator makes it possible for my Mother to join us and have four generations engage in the fun! It was another week of giggles and memories for all of us. The house is well equipped and well maintained. We enjoyed our time at the Ritz and look forward to our return.

We spent our family spring break vacation at the Ritz. We had 4 generations of family members from age 88 to 2 months and two family grand dogs.... Everyone had a wonderful time. The house was wonderful, spacious and comfortable for everyone. We will be looking into 2017 rental since our family unanimously voted to return! We did have a minor plumbing issue with the main floor bath which was taken care of promptly by the property managers.

This was our third time to stay in The Ritz of Crystal Beach. Located in the gated community of Biscayne II, there is very little beach traffic even on the weekend. The new owners keep adding decorative items making the place georgeous. The colorful chairs on the deck make it a perfect gathering place to watch the sunset.

Love this cabin. It's just the right size for large families. We actually had our annual family reunion at this cabin. It was the perfect size. Plenty of places to sleep, sit, visit, cook! This was our 3rd time to stay at this cabin. But the first for such a large family reunion. Would definitely recommend this cabin!

Positives; gated subdivision, close to Ferry, restaurants(Tiki Bar and Steve's Landing are good) and entertainment, quiet, secluded, all the rooms on the 2nd house level had a great view of the beach and balcony, POOL TABLE, large kitchen, plenty of parking space ( we had 8 vehicles and a golf cart), large main floor balcony with lots of outdoor furniture, fresh linens, close to bridge crossing to beach, Cobb Realty was great(love the beach bag),looked like new comfortable red living area furniture that you don't see on the website and best of all an ELEVATOR. Major Negatives for my guests; My nephew was stabbed by a stingray and he spent one night at the emergency in Galveston and the mosquitos were vicious even with mosquito spray (cannot blame the house),and NO WIFI as advertised until our last day (3 family members had to do some work). Minor negatives; Bedrooms need trash cans, TVs in only 4 bedrooms, one restroom tub was extremely slippery and we HAD TO buy a bath mat before someone hurt themselves, no kitchen trash bags which we also had to immediately purchase and new pool sticks/tips are needed. EVEN with these negatives MY FAMILY HAD A GREAT TIME! I would rent again.

This was a fabulous house for our big family group of 13 adults and 11 kids. Everybody had a comfy place to sleep, and we all could congregate in the living/dining room or out on the spacious lower deck. Plenty of room for the kids' craft projects and games ... Wonderful kitchen stocked with everything you could need ... beautiful ocean views from both decks. The house was spotless and everything worked! We did rent a golf cart for easier trips (across the dunes) to the beach, which was also very clean. We all had a great time and want to return to "the Ritz."

Our stay was for a Ladies Retreat from our church, 24 ladies in one house WOW! Great bedding accommodations, wish there had been more baths, otherwise it was a great stay and a great house! Very well equipped kitchen, plenty of seating for everyone. Cobb Real Estate was easy to work with & would recommend them to anyone looking for a weekend get away.

OMG I love this home.. This was my family first visit together in Texas and Putting on The Ritz was the perfect home to fit all 22 on my family members. The home was so clean and in the perfect location of the beach. We stayed a full week in this home and felt like it was ours the neigbhbors were great and friendly. Our family has enjoyed this place two years in a row. We have been coming to this general area for about 15 years. As the family grew we needed a larger and larger place. This has been the best of all. The only drawback might be the need for some kitchen utensils which we have learned are not there like a rolling pin or a food processor and only one pie plate --also not enough wine glasses. But over all we can't complain. We are grateful to be able to rent this place.

We returned to Putting on the Ritz again this year after staying last year. we have a large group of couples that stay together annually for a week at Crystal Beach and this house has a large number of queen beds which is just what we need for our group. This is the third year we have stayed at the Ritz. The house and under the house (outside shower and bar-b-que area)seemed cleaner than in years past. We have a large family and this house had plenty of space. It's well worth the price. The beach this year was very clean and no seaweed. We especially like Biscayne subdivision - very little traffic on the beach.
