Dark Side Of The Dune

We had a great time this year at the beach. The property offered all we needed for the week. It was clean Anna well managed. Our family enjoyed the stay. The only thing we missed was a downstairs shower, but water hoses to rinse sand was available.

This house was clean, well equipped, and very pleasant. It was in a greatlocation near the beach in a lovely quiet area. The linen service was Wow! Big fluffy towels and comfy bed linens. We would definitely stay again.

Cobb has figured it out. They make it easy to decide and then fulfill all your needs. The only issue we had was with the weather, but we still had a great time. Family and friends for Thanksgiving. We cast a couple of lines into the pond and caught two small fish and a turtle (all catch and release). A gated community a little further out from the noise and bustle, suited our needs just fine. Cobb even helped us to rent a golf cart, which also worked out just great. We will be back in the future.

The rental was super clean and in a prime location. Cobb Real Estate really stepped up in helping me pick the best spot for our family and fur babies. Close walk or cart ride to the beach and quick drive to the ferry or to Crystal Beach. Right on a canal for some leisure fishing or just sitting on the deck and enjoying the ocean sounds. We'd definitely come back!

We were so pleased with our stay at Dark Side of the Dune. We planned a last minute trip and Cobb's was great at finding this perfect house for us. Everything was furnished nicely, very clean and we had plenty of room for our family. The beds were very comfortable and the kids LOVED having their own bunk room. I would recommend purchasing the linen package, one less thing to have to worry about packing for the trip and the sheets and towels were plentiful and of good quality. The location is perfect within the gated community. We felt very safe and secure and the crossover to the beach was a breeze with our golf cart. The kids even caught some fish in the "pond" by the house! We've been going to Crystal Beach for over 30 years and this is the best house we've ever rented. We highly recommend staying here and we will DEFINITELY be booking again.

The Dark of the the Dune was the most Amazing beach house we have stayed in thus far. It was a great location on bolivar Island, great beach access by golf cart and foot, close vicinity to the boat dock and the jetties, and an amazing house with all of the amenities one could ask for!

We had a great experience at Dark Side of the Dune. The cabin was well laid out with plenty of room for our family vacation, and it was very nice & comfortable inside and out. We felt very safe in this gated community. It's also very close to the ferry to Galveston which made for a nice trip over.
We are already planning our next trip back to this cabin. I highly recommend Dark Side of the Dune.

The cabin is located in a quiet area of Bolivar. Nice kitchen with double oven. Everything you need. Beds were comfortable. Will rent again

The house was laid out great for a large group. It had everything you needed to cook meals and was comfortable for entertaining. Near the beach with just a golf cart ride away.
