Beautiful Home with a Great View
Our family was fortunate enough to be relocated to this rental after Cobbs deemed our first rental’s deck unsafe. Oh goodness we are so happy they look out for us! This house was delightful. It had everything we needed, the best view, extra deck space for the teenagers and lower deck for the grandmas! It served our family of 8 guests and 2 poodles perfectly! We had a blast!! We loved staying here!
The house is small but spacious and accommodates a large group. There where just three of us. The beds where comfortable and the house was very clean! I loved walking downstairs to the beach in the morning. Would definitely recommend for a quiet family getaway.

This was our 4th year to stay at Abby Sands. We love this house. It has everything we need. The location is quiet and has a beautiful view with a close walk to the beach. The closed in deck is perfect for our pet. We have made many cherished memories here. We are very appreciative to the owner who lets others share their home.The only thing that would push it over the top is the addition of a lift in order to get supplies, luggage and groceries up. Just not getting any younger and it's exhausting making multiple trips.

This is our 3rd year to stay here. It's the perfect location to stay near friends who are renting 2 other homes. This place has everything you need...you only need to bring your clothes and food. The only thing that would make this place over the top is a lift... getting some items up those stairs is exhausting...just not as young as we use to be. This house is well maintained. It had all the kitchen ware that we needed to stay put on the beach. It was so close to the actual beach. My husband could take the kids to the beach and I could stay at the house and get laundry done or make lunch to carry down for a picnic. With the big windows everywhere the kids could walk back and forth between the beach and the house and I could see them the whole way. The only downsides were having to toilet paper when we got there and not knowing that we could have brought fireworks to shoot on the beach. Otherwise it was a great place for our family.

My family enjoyed a long weekend at Abby Sands Castle in mid April. The house was so clean and kitchen well stocked. We especially enjoyed the deck and view. Our 2 small dogs enjoyed the weekend as well The gate on the deck made sitting outside easy for all of us. Besides the beach we enjoyed going to Anahuac Wildlife Preserve. Thousands of birds and many alligators too. We will be back to visit soon

It was a really ,really bad year. The quiet of the beach has always been what I've relied on to relax and ground me enough to get through.
At the last minute( day before) I decided I needed to get put of H town so sent an email to Cobb realty on a Tuesday morning with my wish list also saying I wanted this wrapped up where I could come that day.
I had never worked with Cobbs team before but they jumped on my request and within hours I had everything on my wish list for a great price and all that was left for me to do was get there.
It was perfect and what makes this more impressive is that they did this while their office was preparing for the Mardi gras festivities that weekend.
The beach is where I also vacation and Cobb Realty is who I will call everytime
I'll try to give them more notice this time.

House was very clean. Mosquitoes got better on second day. Would recommend leaving more than 1/2 roll of toilet paper for 2 bathrooms. Know this is a drive on beach. Only had one incident of reckless driving but sheriff department took care of it.

Check in was fast and easy all directions and expectations was given to you upon arrival. The rental was located right off the beach with an awesome view of the beach. The outside view of the house was appealing and the inside was very clean and maintained. It was really like a home away from home with all your needs at your hands. You did not have to bring anything except yourself and your food. I loved the house and I loved the location. I would definitely recommend this property to any and all of my friends.

My family escaped to Abby Sands Castle for the Christmas holiday and it was better than expected. The house was clean and everything you needed was provided. The pictures and online description do not do this one justice!!! We only left the house to attend church in Galveston a short drive and ferry ride away and to enjoy the beach. We definitely plan to return. Great memories were made here!

Precious cabin almost on the water. Clean and well designed with a great kitchen, comfortable memory foam mattress, and all the amenities. The only thing missing is a screen door for ocean breezes and a more expansive view. Thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Would love to come back.

Great location. Easy steps to rental with Cobb Reality. Very clean, 2nd row beach view and walking distance to the beach. Awesome sunrises and sunsets. Beds very comfortable, kitchen has all you need to cook and prepare meals. Cleaning station and BBQ on the ground floor available.

The property was very clean, all of the facilities worked, the view of the ocean is great, the beach was only a minute or two walk. A great time was had by all. The rental rate was also very attractive. A check in time of noon on Friday and check out time of 2 on Sunday was generous. I would stay again.

This house is in a small and quiet subdivision with great ocean views. It's a very short walk to the beach and a short drive to the Big Store. The house was very accommodating with lots of sleeping room and many of the basic items that you need. We found the house to be very clean and well organized. We particularly appreciated the generous check-in time of noon and check-out time of 2pm.

The house is comfortable and pleasantly decorated. The open floor plan made it easy to visit whether in the kitchen or the living room.The location was central to all of our interests.

We had a wonderful time . The house was perfect the location was great .
They had everything that we needed in the kitchen . This is the third house that I have stayed in with Cobbs real estate and everyone of them was fabulous . The linen service was great the sheets smelled wonderful I do not know what they use but I would like to know the secret . The best part was that the house was pet friendly and my fur babies Loved that they were able to be with us.

The full size washer and dryer eere a huge plus for 6 women to wash towels and bathing suits!! And the downstairs shower is a life saver!! PERFECT AFTER BEACH CLEAN!!! ??????

This was the perfect summer trip for my husband, two young daughters and myself! The house was so wonderful! We literally NEVER drove our vehicle to the beach, walked back and forth-only staying 2-3 hours every time (young kids). We loved the seclusion of the beach, especially on the weekdays! At one point we were the only ones there. We gathered hermit crabs, built sand castles, set up a map/buried treasure for the kids (successfully!), searched for shark teeth, and flew kites! At the house we grilled down stairs, brought the kids scooters to ride, relaxed on the front deck with an amazing view! We rode the ferry to Galveston to spend one day there, which was fun but traffic was a killer! Crystal Beach was such a special memory my family will cherish forever!!

Cabin is nice, very detailed oriented. However VERY small. You think you are renting what's in the big picture, but it is actually a very tiny space on bottom deck. kitchen and living room are so small a family of 4 barely fit. only a very small portion of the deck is uncovered and only access to top deck is toting chairs outside stairs to get to it. Not my favorite cabin by no means...

The only bad thing I can say is that the bEd's are really uncomfortable, we woke up so early because we had body cramps from sleeping uncomfortable. Other than that, the house is great!!

We stayed during the off season and it was magnificent. We couldn't have asked for a better home with a better view. The home was spotless and comfortable with every amenity necessary for our stay. The mornings were peaceful as we drank coffee on the balcony and watched a pod of dolphins swim by. We couldn't have asked for anything better and will definitely be coming back.

Booking on line was easy and convenient. So many rentals to choose from! Abby Sands Castle had everything we needed to feel right at home.....we didn't want to leave!!! This was our second year in a row to stay at Abbeys Sand Castle and it was once again a great experience. The house is always in great shape and the kitchen has everything you need for cooking. The deck has a great view of the ocean and we enjoyed getting up every morning and drinking coffee and watching the pelicans fly by. It was very relaxing. I would definitely stay here again.

This house was very well set up, very comfortable and was close enough to the beach to enjoy the beautiful views. The refrigerator worked better than any other refrigerator at a beach home I have ever seen! The kitchen had almost anything you would need to prepare delicious meals... I could go on I suppose having some chaise lounges would put the icing on the cake!

We spent six nights at Abby Sands Castle. The house was in fantastic shape (basically brand new). The house has a good view of the beach from the covered porch. All the dishes and utensils that we needed were provided including a pot to boil crabs. The houses in the area are spaced far apart which is very nice. I would definitely stay there again.

this was our first time to visit Crystal Beach, we were very happy with the overall stay. only one thing we were not very happy with is the beach was dirty they did clean it while we were there but i think that was just lucky timing cause it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Bring your own rake, we will next time we go.

My daughter & I planned a "girl's week at the beach" and was looking forward to it a lot. When we arrived (close to 5:00) the house we had rented didn't suit us. We called Cobb and they got right on it and found us another house that was just perfect! Abby Sands Castle was clean & cute plus a great view of the gulf. There was easy access to the beach as well. We had such a great time there. The only thing that could have made it better would be a porch swing.

It was an excellent beach house, access to the beach clean area. Even though we were on Spring Break this location was away from the crowded area. Boys could drive on beach with their truck go where they wanted and me and grandbaby got to enjoy our quite time on the beach. Loved it!

I was looking for a weekend getaway for myself and some friends where we would not have to spend most of our time traveling, and this turned out to be the perfect spot. It takes less than 5 hours to drive there from Shreveport so we had plenty of the weekend left for fun and relaxation. We stayed from check in at 4 on Friday 'til check out at noon on Sunday. Just enough time to reset before returning to reality. The only thing I can say about the house that was a turn off is that it has two levels that, I am assuming, could be rented out at the same time. There wasn't a tenant on the top floor for our stay but if you choose this house for a trip you may want to find out if there will be random strangers above or below you. That could make for an uneasy trip if you do not mesh with the people on the other level. On the website the description of the house says 1 story but from the pictures I assumed that was a misprint since there are obviously two levels. Other than that the house is perfect. It was very clean and a very short distance from the beach and perfect views. The people from Cobb Realestate that I delt with while booking the house and during check in and check out were very helpful, professional and polite. Awesome beach house - Perfect location! Beach right outside the door where kids could go play & we could watch them from balcony. Amazing view! Beach was very secluded & we went during Spring Break. Fully stocked kitchen - had everything we needed! Sand shower & fish sink not finished, but we used water hose provided instead. Beds comfortable, house very clean and SUPER cute!! Nice to have washer/ dryer so we didn't go home with dirty clothes. Would definitely reccomend! We all had a great time. Also, ladies in office at Cobb were so extremely helpful & friendly - would reccomend them as well! Thank you!
